In recent years Eindhoven Airport has had a major boost because of the business from low cost airlines. It is a popular airport with holiday travellers from the south of the Netherlands, as well as business travellers that use the direct lines to for instance London, Paris and Milan. The airport currently handles 1.5 million passengers a year.
