New vanderlande-dinamic extendibles welcomed by the market
The Vanderlande-Dinamic extendible conveyors have been enthusiastically received in the market, with orders being placed by a number of customers. As well as their use in new projects and as standalone equipment, these extendible conveyors also allow quick and convenient extensions and changes to be made to material handling systems in parcel and postal sorting depots.
So far orders have been received from customers in the Netherlands, Poland, Spain and in Finland to be used in parcel and postal sorting hubs, and requests for quotes have also been received from several major express parcel operators.
These extendibles are offered by Vanderlande Industries in collaboration with the Dinamic Group in Spain, which have jointly optimised the extendibles. They are available as either belt or roller conveyors for dock loading and parcel uploading operations. The extendibles feature an innovative system of joystick-controlled motorised extension of telescopic sections with a gradual, silent movement. A wide range of accessories are available to customise the extendibles to meet the requirements of individual customers and systems.
The interest shown in these new extendibles by customers in the parcel and postal industry is triggered largely by the good price/quality ratio. The Vanderlande-Dinamic extendibles have now filled a gap with systems offering an excellent combination of functionality and flexibility at an attractive price level.
Continuous product improvements planned for the near future include a fine-tuned Vanderlande Industries controls interface, together with further extensions to the range of options. In major projects of this type, extendibles can account for as much as 12% of the total project value.
