Arrival and unloading

To ensure the highest efficiency, the solution for unloading incoming vehicles requires special attention. All types of vehicles such as long line haul trucks, delivery vans and airport ULDs have their own characteristics and are loaded with various types of products.

By introducing a complete range of telescopic conveyor solutions, Vanderlande Industries has a product line that offers the best of both worlds: a reliable, safe and high-quality product at a very competitive price level. Loose loaded parcels are unloaded using Vanderlande-Dinamic telescopic belt conveyors.

Non-conveyables and pallet handling requires sufficient access for fork lift trucks. The telescopic belt conveyor can have a fixed mounting, dedicated to one dock, or can be placed on rails to suit multiple docks or to allow access for forklift trucks.

After unloading, the system’s IT starts tracing and keeping full control of each individual shipment. During the entire sortation process, various types of information such as identification and registration, weight and volume are registered and reported.
