Arrival and unloading
To ensure the highest efficiency, the solution for unloading incoming vehicles requires special attention. All types of vehicles such as long line haul trucks, delivery vans and airport ULDs have their own characteristics and are loaded with various types of products.
On arrival the various types of products are separated. Loose loaded parcels are unloaded using extendible conveyors. Non-conveyables are split off and handled in a different flow. Pallet handling requires sufficient access for fork lift trucks.
After unloading, the system’s IT starts tracing and keeping full control of each individual shipment. During the entire sortation process, various types of information such as identification and registration, weight and volume are registered and reported.
